IN-PERSON WORSHIP UPDATE:

Brothers and sisters in Christ,

Worship services will resume this Sunday at 9AM (one service only for the time being). Also, our confirmands will be confirmed at this service. Praise the Lord!

We will be following Guidelines from the CDC which are:

– 6 foot distance from one another. Thus, families may sit together but otherwise people must stay apart, at least 6 feet. Pews will be appropriately marked. For communion, people will maintain distancing and the rail will be marked.  Please adhere to social distancing. At communion, the Pastor will hold out the plate of bread so each person can grab his or her own wafer and the individual cups will be handed to you by a gloved elder. We will also disinfect our hands after each table leaves the altar area.

– Please wear a mask for the safety of those around you.

– Please do not shake hands, say ‘hello’ or ‘God’s blessings to you’ instead.

Offering Plates will not be handed out, there will be an offering plate in the Narthex where you can drop your offering off. There will be no bulletins, service will be on PowerPoint so no need for Hymnals.

If you are sick, please do not come. It is helpful that you take your temperature before coming to church.

Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
Please stay home if you are experiencing any of the above symptoms.

Also, please note that there will be Exit Doors and Enter doors for safety sake. If you have it, use antibacterial lotion often.
Ushers will be outside the glass doors to dispense antibacterial lotion if you don’t have any.

And finally, the church has or will be sanitized for your safety!

One last thing! Please do not feel guilty in not coming to church if you are fearful. Believe me, God understands. We are hoping to record parts or all of the service which will be put on our website for those who cannot be here.

Joyfully!
Pastor
